UWAZURUIKE BLOWS HOT OVER NNAMDI KANU


Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB,
Ralph Uwazuruike has called on the Federal Government to unconditionally release Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

Uwazuruike said despite the differences in Kanu’s approach towards the struggle for his own dream for actualization of Biafra, the Federal Government had no other option than to release him especially since a court of competent jurisdiction had granted him bail.Read more

Seven-year-old boy gets his head stuck in a pressure cooker for over an hour until a local carpenter in India cuts him free with a saw.


While one person can be seen holding the pot, another slots his hand between the metal and boy's head to ensure he is not cut.

The group starts with the saw before moving onto pliers to make a large enough gap.

BEWARE! KILLER CUCUMBERS CLAIM FIRST LIFE AS HUNDREDS FALL ILL




A DEADLY batch of cucumbers has killed one person and left hundreds of others ill with salmonella poisoning.
The contaminated cucumbers were sold in US supermarkets after being grown in Mexico.
Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce, responsible for the distribution, have now recalled the batch.
Of the 285 victims, half are thought to be children.
A 99-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, died on August 17 after falling violently ill.
Salmonella is a potentially fatal type of food poisoning, but it usually lasts between four days and week.
It causes severe vomiting, diarrhea and fever and, in more vulnerable victims, can kill.

RUMBLE IN DSS AS DAURA’S UNDERHAND DEALINGS GET EXPOSED


The Department of State Services (DSS) is currently
undergoing a turbulent moment following the recent retrenchment of some top officials of the agency.
The DSS days ago had forced some officials to go on
“compulsory retirement”. Former spokesperson to the DSS, Marilyn Ogar, Goodluck Jonathan’s ex CSO, Gordon Obua, President Muhammadu Buhari’s former CSO, Abdulrahman Mani along with a number of others were sacked.
Mr. Obua however has said he would challenge the decision of the SSS in court, as the service failed to establish anything incriminating against him when he was detained and quizzed over alleged corruption. Read More
